The Rest of the Honeymoon Pictures

Wow, I never thought it would be so hard to find time to blog...but even though things are busy, I've sort of settled in (though not all of my stuff!) and am feeling very much at home at my new home :)

These honeymoon pictures are starting to seem like a long time ago! - but it's really only been a couple weeks. The picture above is just one we took at a resort where we ate and looked around.
About an hour of the drive was through a very hilly, curvy area - we stopped for a little break to look at the sunset :)
I typically think scenery pictures are a little boring, but you'll just have to suffer them...
The sun setting over Lake Superior -
We stopped at Split Rock Lighthouse - it's only open for people to go inside during the summer months, but we looked around a little.
This picture's a little dark, but Aaron is standing on the steps -
We drove down to Duluth one day - on a clear day, you could see the whole city from this rest stop, but it was still pretty impressive.
We ate at a place called "Betty's Pies" - it's an old local place and we had a few people tell us that we just had to go there - it was worth the drive :)
Now when we see pictures of us from before the wedding, it's like, "wow, we look so far apart" :)
The night we got home, we went right ahead and opened presents - we've never had so many presents at one time in our lives - and probably never will again! People were very generous, and creative, and we got a lot of nice things - our kitchen is very well stocked :)
We took turns opening the cards and presents and I wrote things down.

Have a great week and I'll try to keep in touch :)

Your courtship and wedding reminds me of some of our friends. Their son is engaged to a missionary daughter, and their courtship was such a blessing to watch. I don't think she'd mind me sharing her link with you. http://littlemissmouse.blogspot.com/2010/01/russells-visit-day-10.html
I know you two would enjoy corresponding with eachother. Thank you for your godly stand in courtship and marriage. Lord bless you,

Ms. Elsie

How wonderful to see you both so happy, Naomi!!!! I've very much enjoyed reading your family's perspective of the wedding and seeing all the pictures--and now looking at your honeymoon pictures! :) I'm so happy for you.

May the Lord continue to bless you both as you follow Him each day!

With love~

I'm so glad to know that Ms. Naomi. Your lives (yours and your husbands, and our friend's), are a living testament that I praise the Lord that I get to share with my children and others. God is ABLE to unite a Godly couple in His perfect will! Well, I have to go now. I also read your kitchen blog. I know the work of remodeling!! Good job :D
